As proud sponsors of the Acorn Performance Pathway, the team at Acorn Finance would like to wish Team Jersey the very best of luck at the upcoming Bahamas Commonwealth Youth Games 2017. The Games are taking place from the 19th – 23rd July in Nassau, the capital and largest city in the Bahamas. The #AcornPerformancePathway has enabled long-term preparation and training time for the Jersey athletes to maximise their potential at the Games.
The 2017 Games will feature nine sports in total and will also introduce three new sports: beach soccer, judo and beach volleyball.
Team Jersey will comprise of seven athletes, four team managers and two support staff. In the lead up to the Games, the Commonwealth Games Association of Jersey will be profiling one of the team members each day on social media.
