Acorn had the huge privilege of hosting Olympic rowing legend Greg Searle MBE over the weekend as part of a two-day development session for potential athletes, coaches and team managers hoping to travel to the Gold Coast for the Commonwealth Games in April 2018.
Greg co-hosted a memorable dinner for some of our clients on Thursday evening then spent Friday morning with pupils of Hautlieu School, passing on his insight into the world of professional sport. On Saturday Greg turned his attention to the Jersey team athletes, coaches and team managers hoping to travel to the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018. Running valuable sessions with the athletes and sharing insights to help them prepare for next year’s competition, he also presented them with their new Acorn Performance Pathway kit. All agreed that the opportunity to spend time with someone of Greg’s calibre was inspiring, motivating and one that none of us will forget for a long time to come.
